The Best Trilogies Ever Made

10. The Matrix

9. The Bourne movies

8.  Austin Powers

7. Lord of the Rings

6. X-Men

5. Indiana Jones

4. The Godfather

3. Back to the Future

2. Lord of the Rings

1. Star Wars

(Honerable Mentions: Land Before Time (all 10 of them), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Terminator, Crocodile Dundee)

This is a definitive list and cannot be refutedby anyone on earth. Not only are you wrong if you think otherwise, you cannot argue with it’s supremacy. Through careful and deliberate measuring methods, I have whittled down the list into an extremely accurate and cohesive list that ranks the top ten trilogies of all-time.

lol, you listed Lord of the Rings twice? Since you took careful and deliberate measuring methods, then it’s obvious that Lord of the Rings was meant to be on the list twice as the best trilogy ever made. So are there two separate trilogies of the franchise?

Also, how about you share your reasoning for each trilogy on the list because I think it would be very interesting to read your thoughts. Seriously, how could you have the Austin Powers films over The Bourne trilogy? And The Matrix itself is better than the entire X-Men trilogy. Your top five is without a doubt a strong compilation, but your bottom five is questionable… of course Lord of the Rings being the high point of your bottom five, along with your top five.

Yes, the listing of Lord of the Rings was completely deliberate and methodically placed. It is in reference to the 1970’s cartooon version. I love those movies.

My friend, if I were to give you the formula in which I used to make this list into the work of grand art that it is, than you would have the formula and the secret to life. I keep that for myself.

However, I will tell you why I put Austin Powers ahead of the Bourne series. For one, I can remember each individual movie in Austin Powers as well as all the memorable scenes/quotes and so on. In Bourne, great movies, but it was just one big movie and particularly, I could not tell you what made them stand out or a particular scene that really pops out to me. They were just good all-around as Austin Powers had this specialness, this aura if you will, about each movie. Plus, they made me laugh. Period.
